How to measure

Three reliable methods.

01

Measure a ring you already wear

Pick a ring that fits the intended finger snugly without sliding off. Place it flat on a ruler and measure the inside diameter from edge to edge in millimetres. Match the number to the “Diameter” column below.

02

Wrap a strip of paper

Cut a strip of paper roughly 8 cm long and 5 mm wide. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight, and mark where the ends meet. Lay it flat and measure in mm — that's your circumference.

03

Order our complimentary sizer

Message the atelier and we'll mail a multi-size plastic ring sizer anywhere in the world, free of charge. Best if you're between sizes, or buying as a surprise gift.

Mirage Garden lists ring sizes in US notation. If your local size falls between two rows, choose the larger one.

Small things that matter

A few quiet rules.

  • Measure at the end of the day — fingers swell slightly with warmth and use.
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold; you'll size down too far.
  • If your knuckle is wider than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle and we'll add light beading inside the band.
  • Wider bands (3 mm and up) feel tighter — go up by half a size.
