Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum information needed to send you a piece of jewelry, look after the piece for life, and — only if you ask us to — write to you about new work.

1. Who we are
Mirage Garden ('we', 'us', 'our') is the data controller for personal information collected through miragegarden.com. For any privacy enquiry, contact media@miragegarden.com.
2. What we collect
Information you provide: name, email, shipping address, phone number, payment details (processed by Shopify Payments — we never see full card numbers), order history and any messages you send us. Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer, device type, and cookies (see §6).
3. Why we collect it
To process and ship your orders, to provide customer service, to prevent fraud, to comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting), and — only with your explicit opt-in — to send marketing emails about new collections and private events.
4. Who we share it with
Shopify (e-commerce, payments), our shipping carriers (DHL, FedEx, SF Express), our email service provider, and our cloud infrastructure provider. We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers.
5. How long we keep it
Order records: 7 years (legal accounting requirement). Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. Account data: until you ask us to delete it. Server logs: 90 days.
6. Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies (cart, login session) and a single first-party analytics cookie to count page views. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party trackers.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA and similar laws, you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, opt out of marketing, or object to processing. Email media@miragegarden.com — we respond within 30 days, free of charge.
8. International transfers
Our servers are located in the EU and the US. When we transfer your data outside your home country, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure equivalent protection.
9. Changes to this policy
We notify customers by email at least 30 days before any material change. Last updated April 2026.
